Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account basics (in the Clips app): email address and sign-in info.
• Your creative material: the prompts you submit and the videos we generate for you.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processor. We see order amounts and status — never your full card number.
• Usage and device data: privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (page views, country-level location, browser type) and standard server logs (IP address, timestamps) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

2. What we use it for

• Rendering your clips and delivering them to you;
• Safety review of prompts and outputs (automated filters plus, where needed, human review) to enforce our acceptable-use rules;
• Fixing bugs, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving the service;
• Sending you transactional messages about your orders. Marketing email only if you opt in — and unsubscribing always works.

3. What we share (and with whom)

Only what's needed to run the service: video-generation model providers (to render your prompt), our payment processor (to charge you), and infrastructure providers (hosting, delivery). Each receives only what its job requires. We may disclose information if the law genuinely requires it. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and runs no third-party trackers. We use small amounts of on-device browser storage for functional preferences only (for example, remembering that you've already seen our intro animation or dismissed a notice). Analytics are cookieless and aggregate. The Clips app may use strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active, your clips so you can re-download them, and logs briefly. Want something gone? Email hello@kinetix.film from your account address and we'll delete your data, except what we must keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California's CCPA/CPRA and Europe's GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Exercise any of them by emailing hello@kinetix.film — we respond to verified requests and never discriminate for exercising your rights. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information as defined by the CPRA, so there's nothing to opt out of.

7. Kids

Clips isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere), access to production data is limited, and payments never touch our servers. No system is perfect, but we keep the attack surface deliberately small.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above and note it here. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
